As we step into this Advent season, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past month and share some highlights with you. God has been at work, and it’s exciting to see what's to come!

Podcast Feature: My Entrepreneurial Journey
I had the surprise opportunity to be featured on the podcast The Entrepreneurial Journey! During the 25-minute episode, I shared my story and why I believe Young Life is so vital for teenagers today.
Fair warning: It was my first podcast appearance, recorded early in the morning after a rough night with Sam. So, if you tally my “um’s,” you might have a fun drinking game (kidding—kind of!). But seriously, you can check it out here: Listen to the episode
Friendsgiving Fun
We hosted a Friendsgiving gathering at our home this year with Kamiak High School students. Using our home to host allows Meg join in the fun too!
We’ve also connected with more families eager to get involved. These moments remind us how hospitality can reveal the heart of Young Life.

Christmas Club Celebration
This week, our Mariner and Kamiak students came together for a festive Christmas Club! The night included:
🎄 A lively Christmas trivia competition
☕ A cozy hot chocolate bar
🎤Christmas Song Sing off!
🌟 A message on the humble birth of Jesus—born not as a king but as a baby—and what that means for us today.
These moments of laughter, connection, and reflection are what Young Life is all about.

Looking Ahead to 2024
As we prepare for the new year, here are some key goals we’re excited to pursue:
Launching a WyldLife ministry for middle school students.
Growing our network of adults passionate about serving teenagers.
Empowering more leaders to engage with more kids.
Getting kids signed up for camp
End-of-Year Giving Opportunity
Your generosity has already made a tangible impact on the lives of teenagers in Mukilteo. As we close out this year, I’d love to invite you to continue partnering with us through a year-end gift. Our ministry is in a season of renewal, and your support helps us build meaningful connections, share God’s love, and grow this community. My goal is to raise $65,000 by the end of our fiscal year (September 2025), and year-end giving is a vital step toward reaching it. You can give here: giving.younglife.org/soundcities
Would you prayerfully consider making a special gift this season? Every contribution, big or small, helps us reach more kids with the hope of Christ. I’m grateful for each of you and excited to see what God has in store for Mukilteo Young Life in 2025!
